15th Apr 2018 at 10:30 to 15th Apr 2018 at 14:30 The Linseed Farm, Muntham, Barns Green, Nr Horsham, RH13 0NH
Here at The Linseed Farm we are dedicated to help spread understanding of the oils and fats that are the raw materials for building our amazing body. We are still a basic Stone Age chemical factory, we think the more you know about these raw materials the better.
Many people are turning to linseed oil, or as the Americans call it, flax oil as a vital ingredient for several therapies including The Gerson Therapy, The Budwig Protocol and Overcoming Multiple Sclerosis.
Our day (15th April 2018) is designed to help you have a greater understanding of the role of fats in the body. I use my museum of Linseed and Flax to help tell the story. You will be able to taste the oil fresh from the press and there will be plenty of time for questions.
Arrival 10.30 for 11.00 refreshments, tour of the barns and see the oil pressing. Then back to the lecture room for the main part of the talk. Followed by lunch at about one o’clock followed by a talk and demonstration of tapping and how that can be part of recovery.

An eclectic, quirky, foodie, arty, plantaholics wildlife event with a vintage twist! Set on the 1,416 hectare Knepp Estate which is the subject of an amazing Wildland Project. The fair is prettily positioned in front of the John Nash designed Knepp Castle, built in 1806 for the present occupants, The Burrell Family.
Linseed (flax seed) farmers and organic processors: siblings Durwin Banks, Gay Banks and Wendy Dorkings run The Linseed Farm as a family partnership in Barns Green near Horsham, West Sussex. They are actively involved in the day to day running of the farm and love working together as a team producing the finest cold-pressed linseed oil and ground linseed to their customers across the UK and beyond.
We come from a long tradition of farmers and started growing and pressing Linseed in the year 2000. We believe we're the only farmer growing, pressing or milling our seed and selling it direct to the public. Our Unique Selling Point and key is freshness. Our customers have told us that no other oil they have tried comes close to our fresh oil.
The world’s largest celebration of ‘free from’ food, drink and lifestyle products. A day out you will not find anywhere else, delivering brand new exciting choices for delicious food and drink, ground-breaking home products and health solutions to help improve the ‘free from’ life you need to lead.
Come and visit us on stand A715 where you can sample and purchase our Linseed produce which is Gluten Free, Low GI and a superfood rich in essential fats (Omega 3, 6 & 9), fibre, protein, vitamins and minerals and lignans.
Since 2000 we have been producing linseed (flax seed) products as a high quality health food. We supply products to our customers (Retail & Wholesale) in the UK and Europe. All of which are made from 100% British grown linseeds. You can buy fresh, natural or organic, pure, unrefined, cold-pressed linseed (flax seed) oil. If the oil is not for you we also produce our pods (supplements/capsules). One of our top sellers is ground linseed meal all of which can be found in our shop, here.
Although we have seen the demand for linseed oil rise dramatically since we started our business, we are delighted to say that very little has changed on the farm itself - we continue to remain a family-run business who believe passionately in the benefits that linseed can bring. Our personal service is at the heart of what we do - more often than not if you contact us, it will be one of the family who will handle your enquiry.
When food is loved it is then that the food is truly worth it!
Plus we believe we are the only seed therapists in the country, come along to stand A715 for some free pleasure!

You can also buy our new handmade linseed and lavender skin cream.
Twenty 50ml pots were given out for trials. The most often reported effect was used as a night face cream “it helps me sleep”. Improvements were also reported for sun damaged skin and generally that the linseed cream is really hydrating and that means smoother skin.
So once again the wonderful Linum Usitatissimum, Latin name meaning “most useful”, is providing yet another way of getting Linseed in your life.
As part of a normal beauty regime, linseed oil in the diet works from the inside out to give you healthy skin, strong nails, glossy hair and many other reported benefits. So it’s great to be able to have a skin cream for general external use as well as for problem areas.
Looking forward to another Yogafest at the OM Yoga Show 2018 at Alexandria Palace, London.
If the last show was anything to go by, then this years Show will be an awesome one, as it was absolutely buzzing and such a good vibe! If you love Yoga and everything to do with that spectrum this show is a must go to!
As usual we will be there with all our very best, fresh linseed products. Keep an eye out for our gluten free, low GI Flaplins (like a flapjack but with a bit more Oomph)!
